With a spark and a bang, the rebellion soon begins as promotion for Catching Fire, the sequel film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games series, ignites positive response from fans and critics. The film’s script comes from NYU Tisch School of The Arts alumnus and screenwriter Michael Arndt who is also penning the upcoming 2015 Star Wars Episode VII film. Ardndt’s past projects include Toy Story 3 and Little Miss Sunshine.
The franchise’s tactful social media blitz campaign suggests a blockbuster box-office this fall/winter. Most recently, the principal cast wrapped press at the CannesFilm Festival where lead actress and Academy-Award-winner Jennifer Lawrencealmost literally became a ‘Girl on Fire’.
