Yes, finally, after a lot of struggle I managed to watch Ekulti Ek. This is my first Marathi movie in the big screen, yes, before this I haven’t watched any in theatre/multiplex.

The reason for I was so eager to watch this movie is because my friend Shriya Pilgaonkar acted in the lead role (yes, I get to boast about it). The plot of the movie is simple and full of emotions. Fun, laughter, sorrow, agony, pain, grief are the emotions that Sachin Pilgaonkar was able present through this movie.  The story revolves around Swara (Shriya) who is the one and only (Ekulti Ek) child of a famous singer Arun Kumar Deshpande (Sachin). Arun Kumar who had separated from his wife Nandini (Supriya) to pursue his career in singing comes face-to-face with his daughter after 18 years.
