‘The Guilt Trip’ stars Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen as Mother and Son.  It begins with Seth Rogen’s character (Andy) returning home to New Jersey to visit with his mother (Joyce) and begin his road trip across the country in an attempt to pitch/sell his newly invented organic cleaning product to major retailers.  While visiting his mother, the idea arises for her to come along.

It’s really that simple of a concept, which I like.  I, typically, dislike when comedies get too complicated.  I can definitely see how the mother/son buddy comedy could have seemed great on paper and I really liked the dynamic between Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen.  I liked the mother/son relationship on screen and their interactions led to some pretty funny dialog between them.
