Ginger & Rosa (2013)


Plot: A look at the lives of two teenage girls – inseparable friends Ginger and Rosa — growing up in 1960s London as the Cuban Missile Crisis looms, and the pivotal event the comes to redefine their relationship.

There comes a time in every person’s life where they’re either facing the reality of possible extinction, or they learn about past events or read about fictional potential events in sci-fi novels. When that time comes, each person has to look inside themselves and figure out who they are as a person and what they want from life before they die. This film is that thought process in action. The two main women are living out their lives with the possibility of dying at any moment, and it directly affects their choices and thought process.
